siege, the

(supposed to have an entry relating to war on terror, but!, blogspot screwing me again. so it's lost. i have no intention of retyping them now. maybe later. maybe never.)

http://bladehelix.blogspot.com/

the above link is related to what i wanted to present, but they did it in a better way with better wordings.

anyway, the title above is a show which potrays the changes in policies of different us presidents causing discontent among some groups. and these groups turn to hate the us because of the shift in policies. it also show that handling a terror situation with violence creates more discontentment and results in more anger and possibly more terrorist wannabes.

and war hurts the people there and fighting the most. to the people who makes the decisions, the casualties and deaths and injuries and bombs and missiles are only figures. do they know how it feels to be there being among your dead and injured friends. or do they knowthe feeling when your neighbour house is bombed and your best friend is dead from collateral damage? what is war to those who started it? gains? policies? to attack an enemy which is visible, cause you cannot hit at the real enemy?

policies change and change in our mindset against adversary is needed to end this conflict. violence will only beget violence.

such is the gist of my original blog. missed alot of points, but it'll have to do.

fight-ken
the most important fight is with yourself.

look at your young men fighting
look at your women crying
look at your young men dying
the way they've always done before

look at the hate we're breeding
look at the fear we're feeding
look at the lives we're leading
the way we've always done before

start off..thank you all for the interest..(no one interested in my life..only about war and stuff..haha..joking..) =)

anyway..to me peace is a state of mind..i'm sure you all can imagine a person peaceful and serene and strong when things around him/her are in a mess. it's how you react, carry yourself and deal with things.

the way us dealt with the terror threat of a small group(al qaeda?) was not peaceful(in their own mindset), that's probably why it led to bigger problems. now they are always fearful of everything. and their reaction to things made more enemies and created more 'jihadians' against them.

if they were more peaceful in thoughts and take time to thin it through maybe they would have planned a better take over of iraq or even gained more support from within. good things take time. fast things take lives. they just wanted another target and iraq was ripe and have the reward of oil and central area in middle east. it was an easy target, but a wrong one it seems.

what a waste of lives. everyone have dreams, have family and have friends. it's saddening to know that human is the only being on earth to kill on another for reasons that are not survival. broken dreams, broken families and broken bonds.

everyday we may face problems with seemingly easy solutions. but do take time to think it through and don't make hasty actions. i have regreted many times which i acted without thinking.

peace be with you all. peace from within is true peace. nothing can take that away.

cheers!
