this year is out of the ordinary.
no relatives came over. peace and quiet the entire day at home. then went out to eat with friend.
perhaps everyone stopped pretending. perhaps everyone decided what's valuable to them.
slighlty amused. slightly disappointed.
oh well..not that it matters much.
